Different Games Played in a Pirate Party
Pirate party should always end with a variety of fun games and for
these games you will get everything you need in the stores nearby. But,
if you create your own game with your own accessories and creations then
the whole experience becomes more fun and at the same time exciting too.
 X Marks the Spot
There is a popular game played in many pirate themed parties called X
Marks the spot. In this game, you will draw a detailed map to reach the
treasure chest. You will also need to mark a point where the treasure
chest is actually hidden. Then blindfold each guest of your party and
spin them around for couple of times and bring them towards the map and
ask to mark X on the spot. This is the place where they think the
treasure chest is located and when they mark X write their initial in
front of that X so that you know who marked the X in which place.
Finally, the person who is closest to treasure chest will get the
treasure and he will alone enjoy the treat of if he wants then can also
share them with other guests. Buried Treasure Another
interesting game is Buried Treasure where you will hide gold coins in a
pit and cover the pit with some sand. Then, you have to split the guest
into two teams and each team will have buckets of their own. Then each
guest from each of the two teams comes forward and search for the hidden
coins from that pit. They will be given certain time to find the hidden
coins and if in that given time they find the coin; then they can bring
the coin and put it inside their bucket. The team which has the maximum
collection is the winner of the game….isn’t it some real time fun?
Other homemade games you can play include Pirate Treasure Hunt (hide a
chest with chocolate coins), Sink the Pirate Ship and Pirate Treasure
Toss.
 When it is time to go home, give each guest a balloon cutlass.
Modeling balloons are available in most toy stores and are a big hit
with kids under nine. Just make sure that you do not give them out
before home time, otherwise your party is not the only thing that will
go with a bang!
